Across the broken parking lot, reside two women, separated by a wrought iron balcony, and a 6 story drop-off. At night, they stand on their sparse, tiny balconies leaning into each other, and discussing subjects of great importance, of which I can only imagine. The other day they exchanged flowers. One ran into her apartment to retrieve a bag of items and handed it to her friend. A few moments later the other lady did the same thing.Discussing their husbands or politics, their hands waving in overt gestures signaling a deep meaning of which I can only guess.
